A Safe School Opening

The village of Deppe has, so far, been spared from the global pandemic. As schools open in Haiti, we want to ensure safety for the children and staff of Lekol Espwa, and keep the village safe and healthy.

A tailor in Haiti has agreed to make masks for 1 USD each. Our goal is to supply each child in the school (of 400 children) with a mask. Any extra funds will be used to supply handwashing stations and public health education for the community of Deppe.

We are truly all in this together. Mesi anpil!

Men anpil, chay pa lou. -Haitian Proverb

Many hands lighten the load.
